I have always avoided wireless bras (except sports bras for activities) because I need some support especially as I am in the twilight of my 40's.After a particularly painful and deep breast biopsy, I had been trying to wear my regular sports bra and ow. Ow. Ow.My mom bought one of these and brought it over to me. I was very doubtful but truly, the minute I put it on - I wanted to cry. So soft and so supportive and it really has some stretch because I was able to carefully put it on with out causing additional pain (unlike my sports bra).I slept in it for a week following my procedure. The fabric is soft, there is a removable lining pad that helps if you need to be modest. The straps are soft and don't dig in, the under band part doesn't roll up, doesn't pinch, doesn't feel too tight.Did I mention supportive? It really kept everything in place and it felt snug and secure but not constrictive or tight. It actually adds even a little bit of cleavage which my husband liked because let's face it, this is not a sexy bra. ;)I love it so much that I bought a second one. I don't wear it every day because the straps sometimes show with various work tops but I can tell you that when I get home, I take off the underwire bar and put this on and it is such a relief! It is so nice to put it when I get home and and not worry about not wearing an appropriate bra when my teenager is home with his friends or neighbors drop in or I need to take a quick trip out of the house. For reference, I am a C typically, sometimes D, depending on the bra. 36/38 again, depending on the bra.5'4, 170lbs and I bought a large and the one my mom bought for me is a large. I worried that after the swelling went down the large would be too loose but it still fits just perfectly. It washes very nicely. I put it in a garment bag with my usual whites and hang up to dry. If the removable pads shift around or fold up during washing, it is very easy to smooth them back out.Definitely recommend!
