I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and, like most women, my boobs have become massively huge! Most stores don't actually carry nursing bras in stock where you can try them on (which makes no sense to me because a pregnant women really needs to try on bras first since she is no longer her normal size). I had to resort to trying on regular bras at Wally World. I came to the conclusion that I needed size 36D (holy cow! I seriously went from a small B to a full D?!?). So that is what I ordered with this bra...Well, no one tells you that nursing bras run a tad smaller for some strange reason (again, this makes no sense). You would think they would run a little bigger since a nursing woman will swell a bit between feedings, right? I guess a non-breastfeeding woman or man designed nursing bras. With that being said, the band around the chest is a bit on the tight side. If I had ordered a 38 instead of a 36 I might have been okay. Or maybe the band around the chest will fit a bit better after I driver my little monkey since I won't have this belly...however...The cup size seems to be quite snug as well. While the thickness of the cups in this bra are spot on (not padded, but nicely thick enough that nipples or pads can't be seen through them). The cups though smooth my boobs as if this bra were an entire cup size too small. I will be ordering another one of these bras in the future, but I guess I will be going with a DD (0..0) on my next order. As for the boning on the side that others have complained about, it doesn't cause any discomfort with me. I wore the bra all day while doing lots of house cleaning and sweating without the boning bothering me. It does, however, sort of bow out a bit after lots of movement...this may be because the chest band area is too tight on me and bunches up a bit after excessive movements. The other issue that I saw being brought up is that the nursing hooks are too difficult to open with one hand. Not a problem here. All you need to do is slip a finger between the cup and the strap to force the hook to pop up. Then you just sort of squeeze with your thumb and it slips right off the hook. It's even easier to hook it back. If you want something easier than that then you'll most likely end up with a hook that is going to undo itself when you don't want it unhooked...like in the middle of a business luncheon.Other things to point out: the straps are substantial yet not these wide bothersome things that I've seen on other designs, the adjustments for the straps are on the front which makes it soooooo much easier than when they are on the back, and the back hooks have several options to make it tighter or looser as well as has three hooks instead of a flimsy single one. The material feels really nice and is the perfect t-shirt bra because it's nice and smooth with no torpedo boob shape.Overall, I really like this bra. Just keep in mind that it runs a bit snugger than regular bras so you might want to go up a size in both cup and chest band...if you're not sure, I'd at least go up one size in the chest band (i.e.: get a 38 instead of a 36).I hope this helps!!!Update: About the boning on the side. After wearing the bra for a few days, the boning started to permanently bow out. No matter what I would do, the sides bowed out. I finally just took out the boning and I'm so happy that I did. It didn't hurt me, just annoyed the bejeebees out of me. Now that side part is much better...the bra is still too snug though...hopefully after the birth this issue will be resolved. :)1 week postpartum update: I hate this bra! The sides where the boning used to be still bow out, the band doesn't sit right, and it's difficult to clip the cup back with one hand while holding a newborn. I'd rather wear a spots bra than this thing! The bra is ok, it does its job but it's far from perfect. I have a list of things that I like about it but I wouldn't buy it again. The list of good qualities can be found in other nursing bras, so the things that I don't like about this bra count too much against buying it again or recommending it to someone else.Pros:- Very soft material, comfortable in the skin.- It looks sturdy and durable and the materials seem of good quality, but I don't know yet because it is new.- No wires: more comfort ant it doesn't block milk flow.- The cup is thick enough that it doesn't show a lot (nipples or nursing pads), but also soft.Cons:- It fits too big, I have an extra room that annoys me every time I use it.- It is difficult to fold the flap down completely, it stays on the way and my baby has to fight it to nurse comfortably. I hate that. It seems to have something to do with the side boning, but I haven't got into it yet to try and solve this problem.- The latches are somewhat difficult to unsnap one handed until you get the hang of it. To close them they have two "stages", so make sure you closed them completely after nursing.Overall, for the price, it is a good bra, but I would definitely try something else next time I buy a nursing bra.UPDATE:Not happy with the bra. The more I use it, the more I feel what others complain about the side boning. The more you fold the flap down it starts to lose shape and then it starts to hurt. I have to fold it inwards (if that makes sense at all) in order to try to prevent the boning from deforming and hurting more. Another thing is that after a few washes, the material inside the cup is starting to show through the soft fabric that covers it. So the look and feel are not totally smooth anymore and this shows in some thin fabric tops. I'm downgrading my review from three to two stars because I don't know for how long I will bare to use this bra or for how long it will hold up.I ordered this bra because 1) my cup size has increased since I last bought bras (even without being pregnant I needed to go up 2 letters) and 2) I am newly pregnant. So I figured I should buy a nursing bra before I need it and test it out for both size and nursing. The good things about this bra are:-the fabric is awesome and soft-It fits and feels wonderful-The straps are wide but not like loading straps, they still look nice-The nursing clips are sturdy and click when they are locked or releasedThe okay thing is the hooks, there are 4 of them. I understand why, but they are hard to hook. Maybe with practice they will get easier, but right out of the package I struggled while trying it on, first doing 3 hooks one way then 1 hook by switching my hand position. One major downside for me is the strap hardware. It is very sturdy plastic, or metal with a coating, which I appreciate. However it pokes me pretty badly in that weird place where my arm meets my boob. You know that place, in front of your armpit? This might be a fit issue that is particular to my body, but the sizing slider sticks out like 1/4th of an inch on either side of the strap. I will probably sew a small piece of fabric to the hardware.Overall I like this bra but the fact that I need to do a little DIY to make it wearable is disappointing. I might buy again if I don't find anything better.c est la première fois que je réussi une grandeur parfaite c est surement une femme qui est derrière ça sans être sexiste mais c est des femmes qui porte des soutiens gorgesComfortable however the cup size isn't necessarily big but maybe just a full coverage type bra (more than im use to). The clips are up near my collar bone making it difficult to use.Son súper prácticos y cómodos. Yo los use durante el embarazo y la lactancia y que no tuvieran varillas te hace descansar muchoFits me perfectly, material is ok. But there's a hard line on the sides that makes me feel uncomfortable. Overall, it's a good product for a good priceI find it uncomfortable. It digs in in strange places.
