This printer is fabulous as long as you set it up correctly. I agree it is a bit of a pain and can be expensive considering you usually have to order the ink from dell directly online. I love the two-sided printing and I have never had trouble with setting up or using the software that came with my printer. The only reason I'm replacing this printer is because of user error (I replaced the ink cartridge and it moved and jammed itself and now it won't recognize the black cartridge).
