Bought this for my Sure BLX dual receiver w/ 2 mics. I love this case. I really like that all you have to do is unzip the front and back sides to connect and use the mics. No need to take the reviewer out, no need to keep cables separate. Just unzip, plug and use. Great purchase. My Shure wireless systems fit well in the Gator case bag, I added a little foam at the bottom of the BLX unit and on the side of the receiver for a snug fit. It also holds my BLX body pack and other accessoriesGood product only issue I had was 1st one came in damaged. A replacement was sent to wrong address after emailing and call to make sure it wouldn’t be. After getting confirmation it would be, it still was delivered to the wrong address. I had to pay out of pocket to get it to the correct address.Perfect little caseNice, sturdy, and compact hardshell case for compatibly shaped and sized mics only. Small footprint makes it easy to pack in with other equipment, but leaves no room for cables, although you could fit a few spare mic clips into the factory pre-cut spaces if you didn't need all six for mics. The factory pre-cut spaces are just a bit short for my 7.0" long off-brand SM-58 look-alikes. Foam is soft enough that I can easily press the mics into it so they fit, but that reduces the already barely sufficient uncompressed 5/8" foam width at the ends of the mic cutouts. The foam layer at the bottom of the cutouts is worthless, so you will want to add some additional scrap foam (such as the green stuff in my pictures) to beef that up a bit and cradle the mics better. There's plenty of soft foam thickness in the top of the case, so I made my added foam inserts pretty thick, and let the windscreen ball compress into the top foam a bit (you can see the resulting indentations in the photos). With minor modifications as mentioned, this is a great case for it's specific, limited, intended purpose of carrying 6 SM-58 style mics. Lost one star because of narrow perimeter foam width, and the almost non-existent foam thickness at bottom of cutouts. If they had built this with four equally thick layers of foam with matching cutouts in the two center layers and two nice, thick outer layers, and made it just a bit taller to increase perimeter foam width at ends of mics, this would have gotten five stars no problem. Although nice and small for transporting or packing in with your other gear, be aware that its small size also makes it an easy target for someone to pick up and stick under a jacket, so keep an eye on it during set up and tear down, or your six expensive mics might easily disappear out the door.So I just got this in today, and was very surprised by something right away! This case is actually larger than what it looks in the photos. I got this for a travel podcast storage case, and honestly was kind of worried that all the equipment wouldn't fit. We have four Shure SM57`s, a Zoom H5, and four XLR cables 6FT each. I took a bit of a gamble getting this because I was afraid everything wouldn't fit. But, I was very happy to find that the storage inside is actually bigger then what it looks like in the product photos!, but everything fits just fine. The reason why I'm giving this a four star rating is for one reason. Which isn't a deal breaker but its one of those things that I would have thought the company would have thought about. The holes for the mics are really deep, and I would defiantly plan on stuffing the holes with something if you use a Shure SM58 or 57. The 58 you might be fine with, because that mic has a fat head, but the 57 drops right into the hole. Just so everyone is aware!Mics are well protectedGot to use it on three gigs already, so easy to carry, easy to access and put back for departure.Great ProductThe Gator 2 Space Wireless Mic & Accessory Bag has five internal compartments, one big enough to hold two large receiver units, two for handheld microphones, and two for battery packs and/or power supplies and mic clips. On the outside it has an external compartment big enough for some short cables and other accessories, as well as a net front which Gator seems to favour, though I can never find a use for myself. The bag is well padded and comes with a sturdy strap. All this is good, and will transport receivers as big as a I like the bag. I like the individual protection for the Mics but it somewhat larger than I had anticipated.... mainly due to the padding. The cable storage is a small zipped pouch on the front and wouldn't fit a decent Xlr into it but I've got some wireless mic extenders that fit and a small di box. I'm confident my Mics are protected and I will use it because of that. Quite smart and nicely made and thought out. This bag is ideal for holding Shure SM58s and the vast number of very similar microphones you can buy. My only problem is with slightly longer microphones such as the Audio Technica MB3K that would place the zip fastner under a lot of stress assuming you could force the top down far enough to zip it shut. Clearly radio Mics won't fit, but that was expected. However, for my reserve stock of SM58s and their look alikes it is great. Fairly obviously you are not going to get four decent length microphone cables in the outside pocket, but they are useful for other things. As a padded bag for 4 mics it's perfect, no qualms there, it does its job superbly. My gripe is about the misleading advertisement of storage pockets. These pockets are no good for say a proper 6m or 10m cable, and let's face it, if you're carrying 4 mics gig to gig, you're wanting compartments for 4 mic leads, no?Bit disappointed, not great value, sorry. I should have paid the extra and bought a flight case. It's decent but if you have anything longer than a Shure SM58 its a slightly tight fit, my longest mic is a sennheiser which is 13cm long, but it still fits in. The pouch on the front is far too small for cables, but it's perfect size to put a few mic stand microphone clips in! The internal foam is incredibly protective and I'm happy with this item, it's very strong and well made. Will last for many years of gigging I think!!
